I .It is suitable for deficiency of spleen with fatigue, loss of appetite, loose stool, and syndrome with deficiency of qi and weakness due to various causes (10).

II .It is suitable for insufficiency of long-qi with shortness of breath, cough, or low voice (10).

III .It is used for febrile disease resulting in consumption of both qi and the body fluids with shortness of breath and thirst (10).

IV .It is suitable for dizziness due to deficiency of blood or sallow complexion or edema of face (10).

V .Both using Tang Sheng and Gingko can enhance memory for brain(1,10).

VI . Tang Sheng possessed exciting action on the isolated gastric smooth muscle strips of the rat (4). It is possible that inhibition of gastrointestinal movement and propulsion is one of the mechanisms underlying the antiulcer action of C. pilosula extract (5).

Attention:

Contraindicated for heat-syndrom, syndrome of deficiency of yin and hyperactivity of yang. It is incompatible with Li Lu( Rhizoma et Radix Veratri ).
